(From Our Own Correspondent.) RANGIOTU, June 10. Mr and Airs Alsop nave returned lrom Wellington alter attending Mr Aisop’s brothers wedding. Air and Mrs Ai. L. Noble, of Fyke's Road, are visiting Auckland. Air and Mrs Al. (J. Toogood are slaying in Bastings. Airs Alacoullum has returned from a visit to Napier. Flaying basketbad on Saturday tlie Rangiotu A team beat Foxion A by 35 ’goals to 7. The Rangiotu B team had a bye. At a meeting of the local branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society, Airs Ft, Wilton was elected president and Airs J. T. Andrew secretary. Miss Berg addressed the meeting arid slated that tins year, the society needed more funds than at - any other time. She -asked collectors to have all contributions in hand by the end of July. At a euchre tournament under the auspices of the Young Farmers’ Club, held on Sin unlay, Aiiss F. Regg, of Bainessc, won the ladies’ prize and Mr N. Pearse the men’s. Consolation prizes were awarded to Aiiss L; Cook and Air W. Cook.
