FORTUNES CHANGE. DEFEAT OF UNITED. When. United were beaten by Kia Toa and Feilding drew with University oil Saturday, in the Manawatu Rugby Union’s senior inter-club competition, the Feilding team took a, lead of one point on' the championship ladder, this side having been previously equal with United. Old Boys played like a machine to beat Air Force and change places at -the bottom of the ladder. • All the grounds were heavy and the play was not fast. The ball was just slippery enough to stop good handling, although the Old Boys backs put up a very fine exhibition at the Showgrounds. -
