FAIR TO CLOUDY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 3. A low pressure trough extends north-westward from the South Island, while anti-cyclones are centred to the north-east and over Victoria respectively. The forecast is for moderate to strong northerly to westerly winds. There will be some further rain or drizzle in the west, but otherwise the weather will be fair to cloudy with moderate temperatures and seas becoming rather rough about the straits. RAINFALL FIGURES. 3.271N..~1N MAY. The rainfall recorded at the Palmerston North Boys’ High School, last month, amounted to 3.27 in and to date this month ,17in has fallen.
