AIRMAN WOUNDED.

Per Press Association HAMILTON, May 31. Advice was received to-day by Mr and Mrs E. Innes-Jones, of Hamilton, that their son, Sergeant-Observer Melville Innes-Jones, who is in the .Royal Air Force, has been badly wounded and is dangerously ill in Ipswich Hospital, England. No official advice has been received by the parents of the airman, whose wife wrote on May 13 that her husband was seriously wounded on active service when a piece of shell passed through his ’plane. Sergeant-Observer Innes-Jones, who is 23, has been attached to the Air Force for years. ASHBURTON, May 30. Rev. A. S. Moffatt, of, Hinds, has received cabled advice that his son, Sergeant-Pilot Moffatt, who wa; reported missing, is safe.
