Produce Distributors. Ltd., report the following prices, for this week according to quality and grade:—Tomatoes, 5d to 8d lb.; passionfruit, Is dozen ;. jam melons, 9s fid super bag; cauliflowers, 5s 9d to 9s; cabbage, 3s to 6s 6d sujjor bag; lettuce 3s 6d to 7s; spinach, 4s 6d to 6s 6d; 'silver beet, 2s to 3s 6d; celery, 6s to 12s per case; rhubarb, 6s dozen bunches; carrots. Is 6d to 2s fid ; parsnips, 2s 9d to 4s 6d sugar bag; swedes, 3s fid to 5s super bag; leeks, 3d to 5d bunch; kumeras, 2jd to 3d lb.; pumpkins, 3s to 6s super bag; potatoes (Sutton’s), 7s ewt.; onions, 3s 6d to 4s 6d sugar bag; 8s to 11s cental bag. The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving large entries of both pigs and poultry at their usual weekly sale. Best weaners realised from 10s to ’ 13s 6d, porkers to 445, baconers to £3 ss. Poultry maintained late rates, cockerels in particular commanding keen competition. Fruit and produce were in the usual supply; a total clearance being made at undermentioned rates. They quote as follows: —Pigs: Best weaners, 10 s to 13s 6d; slips, 14s to 17s; stores, 18s .to 275; light porkers, 35s 6d to 445; baconers, to £3 ss; pedigree boars, to 3f guineas;_ pedigree sows, 3j- guineas. Poultry. Best W.L. bens, 5s to 6s per pair; heavy hens, ss. to 7s per pair; light hens, 3s to 4s. per pair; prime cockerels, 8s to 9s per pair; light,'3s to ss; pullets, 4s to 5s each; young ducks, 9s to 9s 6d per pair; old ducks, 5s to 7s per pair; geese, 3s 6d each. Produce: Cauliflowers, 6s to 10s per sack, cases 4s to 6s 6d; cabbage Savoy, 3s -6d to 6s 6d; Drumhead. 4s to 5s fid; celery, 8s to 12s; lettuce, 6s to 10s 6d per case; leeks, 3s to 6s 6d per case; rhubarb, 3s to 6s; spinach, 4s to 7s per case; parsnips, 2r> to 3s per sugar bag,' carrots.
