BOY’S TRAGIC DEATH.

Per 1 Press Association. TIMARU, May 31. Charles SpiJlane, aged 15, was fatally injured when helping to fall a willow tree at Temuka to-day. The limb he and a companion were chopping; split and slipped downward, inflicting a deep gash on Spillanc’s throat. It then swung across his cliest and crushed him against the fork of the tree. He died soon after.
