PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Kairanga County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, the 11th day of June, 1940, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of Ten thousand ptounds (£10,000) under the provisions of “The Rural Housing Act, 1939,” for the purpose of financing the erection of dwellings for farmers and farm workers for a .term not exceeding 25 years. That the said sum of £IO,OOO is to be secured by a Special Rate of Sixtyone One thousandths (61-1000ths) of a penny i.n the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Kairanga County for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest and other charges thereon. Any person having ally objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the 6ame in writing to the Kairanga County Council not later than the day preceding such meeting.
