FOUND DEAD.

Per Press Association. ASHBUKTON, Jan. 24. James Toner, aged 49, a well-known farmer of the Mayfield district, where he had lived all his life, was found dead this morning with a shotgun beside the body. Mr Toner recently sold his farm, and it is stated that he had worried a great deal over the transaction. He was last seen alive when preparing implements for the pending clearing sale.
