VESSEL FOR FOXTON TRADE
An auxiliary scow, capable of carrying about 200 tons, will Bhortly lie placed on the run between Foxton and Wellington by Messrs Goktingham and Beckett, Ltd . of Palmerston North, who some timo ago erected large and modern stores in the first-named town. It is understood that the vessol will bo in commission in a few weeks’ time. The enterprise of this firm in acquiring the scow should materially assist in the development of the river port.
