It is admitted that such relief can only bo accomplished by some drastic measures, such as funding war pensions or raising a sinking fund. Colonol F. S. Jackson (Con.), while speaking at Hull, emphasised tho burden of taxation and expressed the opinion that Air Churchill would show imagination and produce a Budget calculated to assist trado.—A. and N.Z. cable. ».
