Electioneering Offence.
{ UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, May 14. It is stated that the Hon C. J. Pliarazyn is to he proceeded against for illegal practice at yesterday's election. Some two years ago, and at the last election for Thorndon, Mr Pliarazyn voted at each polling booth, for which offence he was duly convicted. This conviction under the Corrupt Practices Prevention Act disqualified him for voting for three years, and by its present action it is alleged that he has made himseif liable to a fine.
