FORESTERS' BALL

In a recent issue of the Echo the Ball in connection with the Foresters' Lodge was stated to take place on August 14, but on account of not being able to get Meredith's Orchestra for that date, an alteration was necessary, and the event will now take place on 11th August. Everything points to the Ball being a huge success. For over thirty years the Foresters have been in the front rank with their annual function. This will be tne first occasion on which the anniversary has been held in the new theatre so patrons will be well catered for' having a good floor and more space in which to dance. An energetic committee / is at. work under the capable management ot Messrs Sandin and Lambert as secretaries.
