AWAROA BOWLING CLUB

Everything points to the Awaroa Bowling Club having an ideal resort for next season, the various arrangements being now well in hand. The coating of grass on the green has been turned in and everything prepared for a newsowing, which will take place in a fewweeks' time. Every attention to ensure a first-class green is being followed by Mr D.Stewart, who is carrying out the work Mr Stewart has recently donated a piece of land to the Club at the southern end of the green, for the erection of a pavilion, which work he has now in hand. The Club are very fortunate to have such a supporter as Mr Stewart, who met the Club very liberally in the pur- // chase of the site, and has since assisted i& very materially by way of labour fre e #vV of charge. l<£w
