Brisbane, August 20. The Colonial Treasurer introduced his Financial Statement in the Legislative Assembly last night. He estimates the revenue for the year 1886-7 at £3,000,000; and the expenditure at £3,070,000. He proposed t<> cover ihe deficit by increasing ad valorem duties to 7£ per cent., and levying succession duties.
