Conservative candidates have been elected for the following seats heFd last Parliament by Liberals :—East Division of Renfrewshire, Houghton-le-Spring (Durham), Loughborough (Leicestershire), and Huntingdon. (Received July 15, 2.15 p.m.) Unionist candidates have been elected to represent Northwich (Cheshire), and the South Division of Ayrshire, held formerly by J. T. Brunner and Eugene Wason (Liberals). Conservatives have gained seats for Buckingham, Peebles, and Thornhury (Gloucestershire), replacing the former Libeial members—Captain Verney, Sir Charles Termant, and Edward Stafford Howard. (Received July 15, 7.15 p.m.) Alexander M'Arthur (Liberal) who represented Leicester in last Parliament, was electi-d by a very small majority for the Back rose Division of Yorkshire (East Riding). (Received July IG, 1.15 a.m.) July 15. The latest returns show 307 Conservatives, 72 Unionists, 172 Glad-stom-itos, and 81 Parnellites elected. A supporter of Gladstone was returned for the O'ley Division of the West Riding of Yorkshire, represented in the last Parliament by Sir Andrew Fairhnirn (Liberal).
