KUM ARA RIFLE VOLUNTEERS. DISTRICT ORDER. THE District Adjutant, MAJOR WEBB, will inspect the KUMARA RIFLES, at the Adelphi Hall, on THURSDAY, 13th May, at 8 p.m. All officers who have not passed their final examination for substantive commissions will he lequired to present themselves for examination during Major Webb's stay. The Officer commanding the Company is requested to make arrangements so that the above Inspection Parade will be fully attended by the members of the Company. JAS. A. KUMARA QUADRILLE ASSEMBLY. THE KUMARA QUADRILLE CLUB will hold their usual ASSEMBLY on FRIDAY EVENING, MAY 14th, at the Adelphi Theatre. Dancing to commence at Eight o'clock. Admission, 2s. M. PRESTON, Treasurer. THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND SOIREE will he held in the the THEATRE ROYAL, on TUESDAY EVENING, MAY 18, to be followed by a CONCERT, under the presidency of Mr T. Burns, of Stafford. A number of Anthems, Solos, Duetts, and Recitations will be rendered by united Choir, and several local amateurs.

At a Public Meeting held at Kumam a Committee was organised for the purpose of ERECTING a suitable MEMORIAL nn the GRAVE of the lato EDMUND BARFF, Esq., in respect to his Memory, and in recognition of his many services as a public man.
