SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), -VI os lei-, M.D. Professor at the Uni verity , Griefswald, Germany, reports:— Hie Eucalypti Extract proved magnify cently successful in very severe contusrons, bruises, sprains, wounds, acaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flanimation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCVLYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stirted at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gnm Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily.
