Owing to the difficulty experienced by the Ministry in transacting the business of the Legislative Assembly, his Excellency has, at the request of the Government, issued a proclamation proroguing the New South Wales Parliament until October 27th, with a view to its immediate dissolution and general elections. The Union Company's steamship Te Anau lift for Auckland this afternoon. (Received October 3,12.55 p.m.) October 3. Rumours are current that a reconstruction of the Ministry is imminent, it being stated that Sir A. Stuart and Mr Dallev will retire from the Cabinet, and that Mr Wright, Minister of Public Works, takes another portfolio in place of the one he at present holds. Adelaide, October 3. Tha Produce Market is quiet: wheat, 4s Id to 4s 2d; town flour, £8 15a; country do, £7 15s to £B.
