(Our Own Correspondent). HOKITIKA, Nov. 19. The greatest crowd ever to assemble was present at the circus last evening, potions being from as far south as Waiho. Ine qi was the most' extensive ever seen m the town. The circus left for Grey mouth this morning. t ro A ct S o? r ‘on aS the 611 sawmill* 7 wm-iS homes at Kanieri, Mr 'expected that some of the homes \ i - be ready for occupation at Christmas. T*he homes are now being erect-d on the Main Road near Kamen. Mrs J. Preston presided at tne meeting of the Hokitika Pluni *• T ciety. Advice was received that • Plunket Society’s cookery book now being printed would be on sale eai y in December. Good wishes were e , x ’ tended to Mrs Every, who will vc leaving Hokitika in December tor Kaikohe, and the wish was expressed that she would continue to take an active interest in Plunket work.
