Heavy Losses In N.S.W. Dust Storms

SYDNEY, November 15. Dust storms in north-western New South Wales since October 12 have destroyed all the feed and water for stock. Pastoralists are endeavouring to sell stock. Boundary riders on the border fence are on strike for increased pay, and wild dogs are coming on to the stations in New South Wales through gaps in the fences caused by the storms. One station owner said that before the beginning of October there was good dry feed and most stations had fat sheep. The conditions extend to southern Darts of Western Queensland.
