Man on Serious Charge at Hokitika
Following investigations by Detec-tive-Sergeant N. Tnom-json and Detective M. Stewart, and Hokitika police, a married man was arrested yesterday afternoon. He is Robert Lewis Fitzniaurice, 52, Hampcten Street, Hokitika, who appeared before Mr J. B. Hood, J.P., in Hokitika Police Court charged with indecent assault on a male. On the application of Detective Sergeant Thompson, the court remanded Fitzmaurice .to the Hokitika court on Friday, when further charges will be preferred. Bail of £5O with one surety of £5O was allowed.
