AUCKLAND, Sept. 21. A branch of the New Zealand Liberal Party has been formed in Auckland. A tentative executivve was appointed at a meeting last night. Mr R. A. Lowe, of the Wesley Training College, Faerata, was elected chairman and Mr Max Tooley secretarytreasurer. , , X, Members who attended . the meeting of the party in Wellington, last week reported that enthusiasm was shown in the south and branches were being formed in the South Island, and also in the Wellington, Wairarapa, and Hawke’s Bay districts. The constitution and policy would be framed at a national conference in Wellington, probably early in January.
