Wellington, Sept. 5. The Legislative Council, on the motion of Mr Bonar, have struck out the proviso in the Wes'-laud Bills taking the Coal Rer, serve from Provincial control, and they have inserted a provision that there shall be no paid political office, except that of Superintendent.
