From Hokitika — 50 cases apples, 20 bags onions, order. The s.s. Kennedy arrived yesterday afternoon from Nelson, via Hokitika. The schooner Hector, bound for Richmond River, and . Gleaner, for Melbourne, Avere towed to sea on Saturday. A vessel, supposed to be the Sarah and Mary, from Melbourne, was sighted about fifteen miles off the land yesterday afternoon. The Dispatch ran out, but finding the schooner was so far off, returned, in order to be in time, to tender the Alhambra. The s.s. Alhambra arrived off Hokitika early yesterday morning, and was waited on by the s.s. Waipara. In order that she should not be delayed at this port, the p.s. Dispatch.ran out with her passengers late on the tide yesterday, and waited for her in the " roadstead. The tug was expected to return to port during the night.
