At Wanganui a large and influential meeting was held last night, which unanimously passed resolutions in favor of separating from Wellington. The agitation is rapidly going on, and money 13 coming in. Auckland, May 1. In a letter to a Thames paper Lieut. Lockner offers, if allowed by Government, to select 200 men who will fetch in the King and the murderers of Sullivan and Todd dead or alive. Reports from the Waikatb describe the Maori mind as much agitated by conflicting rumors regarding the intentions of the Government. James Mackay has gone to Tawhaio to demand the murderers in the name of the Government. Tana, Thompson's son, has also gone on a similar mission. He will return in three days. Arrived— H. M. Alaciity, schooner, from Sydney. She lost her mainmast.
