• ; Friday, Makch 28. (Before Mr Warden Whitefoord.) John Winter and party applied for perxmßsion to turn the water in Moonlight Creek for a distancie of 600 yards. There was a strong objection made to the granting of the application by miners working in the locality for several reasons. After hearing the objectors the Warden gave the applicants the option of taking the permission, provided they re-arranged their boxes so as to prevent injury or interference with the objectors 1 works, or of waiting till the Mining Surveyor visited the scene of the dispute and reported for the information of the Court.
