! Reefton, Feb. 10. The miners held a meeting on Saturday, and passed resolutions affirming the desirability of a strike, and requesting the minei's working in the Ajax and Anderson's claims to cease until four pounds pep week are offered. They are collecting money to advertise add assist necessitous cases during the strike. Wellington, Feb. 10. The Governor has received a despatch expressing the Imperial Government's sense of Mr Fox's services, and allowing Messrs Fox, Yogel, M'Leau, and Gisborne to retam the title of Honorable for life. It is understood that the commission appointed to inquire into the conduct of Mr Eyes, at Blenheim, has reported the charges not proved. Auckland, Feb. 10. The storm has cleared away. It did considerable damage to shipping along the coast, and blew down houses and fences in the country districts. Arrived —^Warwick, from London, with 184 passengers.
