RULES. The Bports will commence oh each day at 11 o'clock precisely. In each handicap race there must be three starters, or no prize.; four starters, or no second prize ; five starters, or no third prize ; and six starters, or no fourth prize. Should there be a tie in the Westland or District Handicaps, the deciding race will be run off at the middle distance. In each style of wrestling there must be six competitors, or no second prize ; and eight competitors, or no third or fourth prizes. The decision of the Committee in all cases shall be final. Course, twice round. 9. Duck H;xnt, post entries. Rules. — Three entries and three to start or no race, with the exception of the first race which requires four to enter. Entrances —74 per cent, on the prizes to be given on each event, excepting boys' race. All entries to be paid to the Treasurer on or before Saturday, the 28th December, and not later than 10 p.m. Stewards to alter the starting of any races as circumstances may require.
