The Argus' recently published an imaginary account of the influence of an earthquake in Melbourne. The Adelaide Advertiser published the Argus description of the destruction of Melbourne, and a woman, crying, 1 called at the office to ask if she could telegraph to her husband, as she was most anxious for his safety. An explanation, how ever, eased her mind.
