The following, which is compiled from an official time table issued by the Post Office Department, shows the days on which the Ban Francisco mail is due at and depart* „ from Greymonth during 1872 :— Inwards. July ... ... 21 August ... .. : 0 August 18 „ ... ... 32 September ... 15 September ... 20 October 13 October 27 November ... 10 November . 25 December ... 8 December ... 22 The time allowance between Greymouth and Auckland is six days ; between Auck- ' land and San Francisco, 24 days; and between San Francisco and Condon, from 19 to 20 days— total from Greymouth to L#nd»n, 49 to 50 days*
