CnßiSTcuoßCH.— The Times, of the 17th reports : — No stir whatever has taken place in the grain mhrWt, quotations remaining merely nominal. Stocus continue very light, other trise prices would have given way considerably. Holders of small parcels of stored wheat ask 4s 8d to 4s 9J, without meeting with purchasers. Flour remains slow of sale ; stocks increasing. No alteration has taken place in quotations— say Ll3 for best brands. Oats are rather scarce ; prime milling readily realises 2a to 2a Id. We have heard of no sales in barley. The market for stock has been gradually assuming a brisk aspect, and there is every indication of a large amount of business being done when spring fairly Bets in.
