PER GREVILLES TELEGRAPH COMPANY, KBUTER'S AGENTS.] AucKii-yD, June 8. The Seagull has arrived from Fiji, and reports H.M.S. Cossack is lying v\ Levuka harbor. The -brig Earl, of 300 tons, has been seized for slavei/, and her crew charged with kidnapping 100 aboriginals. The crew are prisoners on board the ship Cossack. It is alleged that lives have beon freely sacrificed during the Earl's cruise. • The community at Levuka is unsettled, A large section of the inhabitants opposing the Government, who propose to arm i I five thousand Fijians to enforce their measures." Wellington, June 8. The Home, News says a feeling is prevalent that, had the second "jstalment of the loan been brought out at a fixed price, the public would readily have subscribed at and advance price, and that by not placing the loan in the hands of one of the Colonial banks, the result wi 1 be a heavy loss to the Colony.
