The steamer Albion is expected to arrive off this port to-night. Should she put in a timely appearance she will be despatched on the evening's tide for Melbourne direct. The paddle-steamer Charles Edward is expected here to-night, and will be despatched on Friday at noon for Westport and ftelson. The s.s. Claud Hamilton is due at Hokitika this day, and is advertised to sail for Melbourne via the ports to-morrow morning. It is hoped those passengers who were disappointed by the Raugitoto not waiting on her last trip, will succeed in reaching their respective destinations by the Claud.
