RICH MINES IN UTAH.

The Salt Lake Herald, of May 24th, has the following items : — Yesterday a gentleman just in from Bingham Canon, reports matters and things lively in that canon. No snow mow to hinder parties from working or prospecting, and there are between one or two thousand men so engaged at the present time. The same gentleman shows us a specimen of metal that had been ran out in a blacksmith's forge that assayed 320d0l in gold, 22d0l in silver, and 26d0l in copper to the ton. He had also several specimeus of galena ore, from ledges just discovered. New discoveries are being made every day. Judge Whedom received yesterday a sample of milling ore from the Silver Cloud, in the Camp Floyd district, taken from a shaft twenty feet down, which, assayed 377d01. The vein is looking fine and prospects good.
