St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, every Wednesday, at 4.30 p.m. For Hokitika and Paroa, daily. For Cobden, Brunuerion, aud Twelve Mile Landing, every Tuesday and Friday, at 9 a. m. For Christchurch, eyery Sunday and WecU nesday, at 4.30 p.m. Money orders must be procured and letters registered one hour previous to the closing of the mail by which it is intended to transmit them. On and after the Ist January^ the postage on letters juldressed within iS'ew Zealand, out of the County of Westland, must bear the luter-proymcial rate of threepence per half-ounce. In future, the Post Office will be open to the public, for the transaction of Money Order and Savings Bank business, on ordinary days from 9 o'cleck a. in. to 4 o'clock p.m., and on Saturdays, and on tha clay previously to the e'losing of the Mails for tbe United Kingdom, from 9 o'clock a.m. to 5 o'clock p. m. Lettern lor sea borne mails will be forwarded if posted v ithin forty minutes after the advertised time for closing the mails, such letters to bear a late fee of (id, in addition to the postage, the whole to be affixed n po«tage stamps.
