BRIZES OFFERED BY GOVERNMENT. The Government, in accordance with the desire of International Labor Office of tho League of Nations is instituting a collection of Household (Budgets throughout the Dominion and is offering cash prices amounting to £IOO for the best records of household receipts and expenditure kept oyer a period of three months commencing in March next. A ‘‘Householders’ Diary Account Book’’’ lias been designed for this purpose and a copy will be sent gratis and post free to any householder who wishes to enter for the competition, on request being made to the Government Statistician, Wellington. Those who send entries for tho competition may rely on the information supplied being treated as confidential. Names only of the prizewinners will be published.
