AA'edgwood Benn, Secretary for India, said that apart from a small fluctuation due to seasonal movements, no change had been recently made, or was at present contemplated. Asked if he was satisfied that the British troops at present m Intli;: were sufficient to keep peace and order, .in view of the recent political disturbance. Air. Benn said: “In all these circumstances we act tinder advice, and I am satisfied tluu the advice is good.”
