BACHELORS IN IRISH FREE STATE HIGHEST PERCENTAGE IN WORLD United I’reaa Abs/i. by El. Tel. Copyright (Received Feb. 4, 8 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 4. The Irish Free State census figures just issued reveal that the country possesses the world's highest percentage of bachelors, also a marked tendency to late marriages. Between the ages of 20 and 30 years the percentage of bachelors is 80, and be-

tween 30 and 35 years 62. The next highest known percentage of bachelors is in Sweden, where the comparative figures are: 25 to 3o years, 62 per cent., the corresponding figures in England and Wales being 45 per cent-, and America 35 per cent. The returns also show that one out

of every four women remaining in the Irish Free State never marries.
