At a special sitting of the Wjiirarapa District Court to-ilay, the written judgment of His Honor Mr. Justice Hasledeu was read by the Registrar in the case of Kennedy v. Miller. The judge was asked to give a certificate of approved under the Police Force Act- that he approved of the verdict of the jury in the original action, in which, plaintiff was awarded £5 damages in respect of a cin ini for wrongful ejection from the grandstand at the Waif a rap a-B ritish football match. The Judge decided to give tlie certificate as Husked, and awarded costs in the action to the plaintiff. The matter had been remitted back from the Supreme Court to the District Court.
