The Proposed Reciprocity Conference.
(Per Press Association) Sydney, Dec. 21. The Daily Telegraph says tbat. as a step towards following tbe desirable example of New South Wales in making the port free, tbe suggested conference must be approved by this colony. No harm can possibly come to New South , Wales from a conference •with the other colonies, which has for its motive the admission by them of our products or those of each other. The Telegraph still insists that New Zealand is not tho proper, place' for such conference. ■"-'" ":"■
