(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Dec. 15. Butlers' shipmate aboard the Olive Branch gives some details of Butler's career in Brazil. lie met him at Bio when yellow fever was raging there. Butler joined the Olive Branch at that port. When he got to sea. Asbe, as he was then known, as stated, was in Brazil for three or four years, daring which time he gained all possible information about people with money. These he enticed, when possible, to a lonely spot' and popped them off. During the revolutions in Brazil a number of ship captains went up country but never returned, and be believed that Ashe could account foe their disappearance. Ashe told his companion that a revolver was his best means of living, apd when leaving Bio intimated his intention of following up his previous career in Australia and there making money by " pinking " them.
