The Venezuelan Dispute.

(Per Press Association.) London, Dec. 12. In Venezuela there are complaints that the treaty with respect to the boundary dispute contains no provision of sovereignty, and an agitation is being raised. Mr Olney, Secretary of Stato for the United States, declines to modify the terms of the treaty without the British consent. Washington, Dec. 13. The Government do not anticipate any serious difficulty over the Venezuela boundary question. The amendments desired by Venezuela are in the nature of increased safeguards and are not;likely to jeopardise its position.
