The Glenbrook Mystery.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Dec. 4. A body has been found in a deep and lonely golly close to the mouth of a cave. Little care had been taken with the burying, but the grave was arranged in such a way tbat water from an overhanging rock would drip into it, evidently to cause rapid decay. Tbe supposed tracks of Butler, alias Weller, bave been picked up and further discoveries are expected to-day. A suggestion is made to dispatch a steamer from one of the New Zealand -ports to intercept tbe vessel in which Butler left. Later. The work of exhuming Preston's body began this morning. It lay on its back with the head turned to the left side. The legs were drawn up and out of shape, and tbe left arm was crushed under the side. The right arm was pressed behind the back. The general appearance showed that the grave was too small, and the abdomen had been pressed by a weiebt probably of a body, aa aa to cram it into the space. The body was fear. fully decomposed, but a friend of Preaton's completely established indentifica* tion. The wbole surroundings were moat pitiful. The body was plaoed in a coffin md taken to Penrith for the inquest. _ post mortem examination showed leath was due to a gunshot wound in the irain, in addition to these there were wo fractures of the skull, and a man aaid o resemble Butler, has been arrested at ?ort MacQuarrie. Latest. Tne inquest on tbe body of Preston tas been adjourned nntil Tuesday.
