The Flax Industry.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Dee. 4. The Premier states the £'250 Goverja ment subsidy for sending an expert in the flax industry to England is now available, and as tbe flax growers had subscribed the necessary balanco there was every hope that arrangements to send an expert would be completed, and that he would leave for London by the next ship.
