o The following extract from the Palmerston Standard of this morning should be of interest to those electors whose names do not appean^on the Electoral Roll of the district^ which they reside : — " It is as well that those who have had their names omitted or removed from the roll by mistake should know that they still have an opportunity of having the mistake remedied as will be seen from the following clause of the Electoral Act : — " The Registrar, on being satisfied that the name of any person has been omitted or expunged from any roll by mistake or clerical error or through false information, may restore the nan>e of such person to the roll at any time, and after the issue of a writ, but not later than 10 clear days before the day appointed in the writ for the poll to be takes." lbs Registrar in Wan.
panui has arranged for a Court to be held to-morrow to deal with all claims held over, and if necessary the same course could be followed here.
