' Sir, —May I enquire if it is the inten» tion of the Feilding Athletic Club to ; have the racing track on the Oval rolled this yenr in order that local competitors rnuy have a chance to train for the sports on Boxing Day, a.s it is impossible in its | present state to train at all. The grass also requires cutting and nhould be attended to at once. [ am, etc., Athlete.
