All Amateur Events will be run undei the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Boles.' The Bicycle Baces will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations mnst be Bent in upon the printed official forms of the W.Z.C.U. The particular attention of competitors U drawn to Bule 26, which reads— ' Every competitor mnst wear complete lothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rale renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor fonnd guilty of sending in false performances, running nnder an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Com* aittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of hiades senption of his performances. The Com* mittee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he ■hall not be entitled to claim any priirc. There must be two competitors in each •vent or no first prize, three or no second, four or no third.
