Suicide of a Merchant.
o (Pe* Press Association.) Melboxjene, Nov. If. Edward McPherson, of McPherson Bros., machinery merchants, has committed suicide by shooting himself. The evidence at the inquest showed that deceased wan suffering from depression, and consulted a magnetic healer, who said that McPherson was suffering from congestion of the liver and kidney, and that he found this out by looking into the brain. The Coroner strongly condemned the action of the healer, and said that if McPherson had not consulted him properly be would have been still alive. He would have liked to order the healer to be flogged.
