A. G. Tame and Co. report nn the marvets for tbe week ending 12th November : — Fat dheep—- Only shorn sheep are now loming ia and some ot really good quality lave been sold. Prime wethers lis to 12* 6d ; medium, 10s to 10a 6d ; ewes 9s o 10s. Store sheep, very few offering, auyers are shy, but, as the wool market is unch firmer, prices are inclined to narden, We do not see any occasion for sellers to fear the market too much, as sheep are still good property. Good wethers. 7a to 8s: 2-tooths, 5s to 6s; roung ewes with good percentage of lambs Js to 10s. Fat cattle, beef is easier, and cannot be now quoted at more than 17s 3d per lOOlbs. Store cattle, market is a little better in demand, but no advance in prices. Fresh-grown bullocks L 4 10a to L 4 15s ; 2 year steers, L 3 to L 3 lis 6d ; pearlings and 18-months, 35s to 45; good weaners, 26s to 30s. Dairy cattle, we have never seen tbe market quieter, and sales are difficult to effect. L 7 is top Dnce for a good young cow. Pigs, market good and strong for all sorts. Slips, 103 to lis : porkers. 18a to 235. Sheepskins and wool aU coming forward to our weekly sale are eagerly snapped up, and prices keep up wonderfully well. We can still obtain for best green skins, 5s 6d to 6s ; 4s 6d to 5s for lighter, with pelts not so well cared for. Dry country sales. 5d to s|d and 5d for anything very special ; medium and half woolled 4d to 4-Jd.
