AUSTRALIA v. NEW ZEALAND.
(Per Press Association) Wellington, Nov. 14. The following players have been selected to represent New Zealand in the match against the Australians, to be played in Christchurch on November 26th, 27th, and 28th :—R. Neill, I. Mills, L. A. Cuff, D Hay (Auckland) ; A. B. Williams, R. C. Niven, E. F. Upham, A. R. Holdship (Wellington) ; A. E. Ridley, H. DeMaus, H. Pearce (Christ church) ; A. Downes, J. Baker, A. Clark (Dunedin); W. Robertson (Invercargill). The services of Fisher and Rams, of Dunedin, are not available. Dunedin, Nov. 15. The following fifteen haye been selected to represent Otago against the Australian cricketers:—Baker, Clayton, Clarke, Downes, Fisher, Gunthorpe, Hope, Johnston, Liggins, Kinyig, Parker, Spraggon, Rains, Rattray, Wells. In deciding to play only fifteen men, the Otago Association do not do so be cause they think they have any chance of winning, but simply to give the public an opportunity of seeing the Australians bat under better conditions thau would be the case with eighteen men in the field.
